Aegiali , is the second port of Amorgos , located 15 km northeast of Chora .

It is a magnificent crescent-shaped bay hemmed by a large sandy beach, bordered by tamarisk trees and a valley planted with orchards and olive trees. It is framed by three typical villages, all built in an amphitheater and facing the sea.These are the villages of Langada , Tholaria and Potamos , immersed in lush vegetation, rare for the island, and where donkeys play the typical means of transport.
Numerous hiking trails departing from these three villages . From Aegiali , it takes about 45 minutes of walking through the trails to reach them. The three villages are linked together by numerous trails.
Aegiali , with beautiful sandy beaches, is an ideal seaside resort for families, wanting to both go hiking and enjoy the joys of swimming.
