Milos - Adamas

Adamas is the center of the island’s bustling life and concentrates the majority of its economic activity. A growing village, it is bordered on either side by two beaches planted with tamarisk trees. On the right looking towards the sea, Lagada
beach , 500 m from the center, and on the left Papakinou beach at 1000 m. Hotels, guesthouses, various rentals and shops are scattered everywhere. Although noisy overall, Adamas remains welcoming with its pedestrian streets, its houses with flowered courtyards, its pretty churches, in particular that of Agia Triada , dating from the 17th century, which is distinguished by an architectural style very rare in Greece . Restaurants, cafes, discos brighten up the seaside. Adamas is also the starting point for caique or sailboat trips that tour the island. A real “must”. Public services  : medical center, banks, buses, caique service serving the beaches.
